Katie always had a passion for the arts. She has a talent for drawing and has been dancing since she was 2.
She started with playing the Violin in 2008; perform at school concerts, holiday events at her local mall and fundraisers at Pet Smart to raise money for the ASPCA.
Katie always enjoyed singing but was shy to sing out. She joined her school choir in 2011, keeping her voice hidden.
In 2015 she left her school choir, to explore her love of pop and rock. In 2016, Katie gained the courage to post a video of herself singing “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5 and discovered Rock And Roll After School (RARAS).
In 2017 Katie was accepted into The University of The Arts’s Pre College program where she studied vocal performance in Jazz and Contemporary music along with many other talented students around the world.
Katie’s musical inspirations are usually her favorite bands with strong female vocalists like Paramore, Little Mix, We Are The In Crowd, and Tonight Alive as well as other bands like The Struts, The Arctic Monkeys, All Time Low, and more.
During her free time she enjoys being a hip hop dancer at Premiere Dance Studio, Drawing and other arts, Jumping up and down and singing along to her favorite songs in her basement, Speaking out about Psoriasis with the National Psoriasis Foundation, and helping out kids with Autism, Asthma, Sickle Cell, Hemophilia and other diagnosis at Dragonfly Forest.
